Disaster relief

Coles has a long history of supporting the community by raising and donating funds for disaster relief. Our team members and customers support relief efforts by donating funds as well as essential supplies to communities in need.

Since November 2019, Coles and our customers have donated over $3 million to the Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund.  We’ve also donated approximately $3 million in gift cards to around 6,000 fire brigades across Australia.

Together we are making a difference to support bushfire relief

Thank you to our amazing customers and dedicated team members who have so far donated over $2.1 million to the Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund in FY20. This is in addition to a donation by Coles Group of $1 million to the Red Cross and a further $3 million in Coles Gift Cards being provided to rural fire brigades nationally. Our team members have also worked tirelessly to help support communities in fire affected areas. Below are just a few examples of our outstanding team members' efforts.
