Coles and Taste.com.au deliver a truly digital Christmas

Shoppers across the nation are set to have their Christmas tables transformed and spend less time pushing trollies this Christmas as the digital partnership between Coles and Taste.com.au extends to provide the ability to shop ingredients from over 40,000 recipes and with a couple clicks they are delivered straight to their kitchen bench.

This continued digital innovation is making planning for Christmas easier than ever especially with the introduction of the new seasonal online Christmas Menu Planner providing inspiration to suit every type of cook with any budget while taking the stress out of planning seasonal events. Shoppers can plan, shop, cook and share all from the comfort of their homes.

Whether you’re having a traditional Christmas lunch or a festive barbie, picnic or cocktail party, the Christmas Planner allows users to plan their Christmas in three easy steps: Pick an occasion, Choose a theme and Pick a preference.

The Christmas Planner helps users organise their cooking with detailed time plans and even adds some festive cheer with drink suggestions. Once the easy task of the planning is out of the way, users choose ingredients to be added to their Coles online shopping trolley and with a couple of clicks they are on their way.

Plan your festive gatherings down to a tee as all of the 40,000 Taste.com.au recipes, including new recipes developed by Chef Curtis Stone, are now available to be shopped directly on Coles.com.au. This year consumers are also able to pre-order turkeys, hams and prawns through Coles.com.au.

And it’s not just for those shopping online. This year the Coles Mobile App also allows customers to add ingredients from Christmas recipes straight to their Coles shopping list, help them find which aisle products are found in their local store, and even find the specials most relevant to them.
