GRAZE Beef and Lamb

Grass-fed beef & lamb, selected to high standards. Now available all year round.

Free to graze on pastures and never fed cereal grains. At Coles, all our delicious GRAZE lamb and GRAZE beef are from 100% Aussie farms.

What does grass-fed really mean?

It means our livestock roam free on open and abundant Australian pastures and are never fed cereal grains.

Our livestock is individually selected to high standards and can be traced directly from our Aussie farmers. Guided by the seasons, we work with nature to bring you succulent, quality grass-fed beef and lamb - all year round.

Achieving this high level of quality requires adhering to a set of high standards which ensure the livestock have access to graze on pastures, are cared for by skilled stockmen and women, and that none of our beef is treated with Hormone Growth Promotants (HGPs), and our lamb is raised without the use of antibiotics.

The GRAZE grass-fed standards cover feed and water, as well as other areas including traceability, animal welfare and handling.

Tim Wilson: Labertouche, VIC

Tim owns Amphitheatre cattle farm at Labertouche, Victoria and supplies Coles with entirely grass-fed beef. Tim’s dream was always to have his own farm, and when an opportunity to manage – and later purchase – a cattle farm arose he jumped at the chance. For him, as well as caring about the welfare of his cattle, it’s a lifestyle that suits him to a tee, given he’s spent a lifetime learning the intricacies of farming.
