Coles Nurture Fund

Coles launched the $50 million Nurture Fund in April 2015 to help small businesses innovate and grow.

Since then, we have offered more than $12 million in grants or interest-free loans to 27 different producers to help fund the development of new market-leading products, technologies and processes.

From Australia’s first quinoa processing facility, to chickpea tofu, to home grown garlic and to Australian first prawn farming technology, the Coles Nurture Fund is helping Aussie producers bring their big ideas to life.

Innovation is one of the primary drivers of competitiveness. We recognise that smart, energetic and agile small businesses can be a launch-pad for great product innovation, with Aussie customers reaping the benefits of new and exciting ventures in the food industry. Financial support can be the difference in getting great ideas up and running.

A business doesn’t have to be a supplier to Coles to apply to the Nurture Fund, because at Coles we want to support and encourage all Australian food and grocery producers to take the next step to achieve their goals and bring customers the latest and best-in-class in technology, sustainability and produce.

We are proud of all the Aussie businesses we have supported through the Coles Nurture Fund and we look forward to supporting many more.
