Easter bag
design competition

Your Easter Bag Design Could Win Your Aspect School $5,000!

Coles are giving all Aspect school students across Australia the opportunity to design the new range of Coles reusable shopping bags for Easter 2019, plus the chance to win fantastic prizes.  Aspect schools provide education to Autistic children.

The new range of sturdy, durable, multi-use shopping bags are great for the environment because they can be used over and over again. Then at the end of their lives, these bags can be recycled through the REDcycle bins at Coles. These bags are also great because 10% of the proceeds from the sale of the bags will go to the lucky student’s school.  The 10% of bag proceeds rebate will run from 1/2/19 to 30/4/19.

Great Prizes for Great Easter Designs

Each selected bag design will be rewarded with at least $5,000 for your school, depending on the number of bags sold in Coles across February, March & April next year year. Plus a $500 Coles Gift Card will be awarded to the student who created the winning design. A total of four (4) Easter bag designs will be selected from either of the two bag design themes.

Instructions for Schools

All Aspect schools in Australia are eligible to participate. All you need to do is encourage your students to take part and make sure their entries are submitted by 14th September 2018.

Instructions for Students

Bag Designs

We are looking for original bag designs that are bold, creative and desirable. Your bag design should be based on one of the following design themes:

  1. Delicious, fresh food for Easter.
  2. Novelty Easter.

The bag design will also need to:

  • Include the designers first name & school name; students should think about the way an artist signs their name or leaves their personal mark on a painting. This should be included at the bottom of the bag design.
  • Be designed in full colour print – we want our bags to be bold.

Otherwise the design style is completely up to students. Designs could include photography, illustrations, graphic designs or drawings.
