Shopping safely in Victoria
Coles has removed all purchase limits from our Victorian stores and Coles Online, which were temporarily implemented following the Victorian government’s announcement of increased COVID restrictions in Victoria. We will continue to monitor product availability and ask that customers continue to only buy what they need to help ensure everyone in the community has access to food and everyday essentials.
We ask customers to ensure they are wearing a face mask before entering any Coles Supermarket, Coles Express, Liquorland, Vintage Cellars, First Choice or First Choice Liquor Market stores in Victoria unless they have an exemption – and the same rules apply to our team.
Coles has also implemented enhanced safety and hygiene measures in stores in Victoria to help customers shop safely.
Coles’ standard cleaning procedures in all supermarkets, liquor stores and Coles Express sites comply with all government health and safety guidelines to reduce the risk of COVID transmission.

Shop safe at Coles
Shopping safely remains our top priority, and we have extensive measures in place to help keep our team members and customers safe.
We’ve got sanitisation stations at the front of every store, stocked with hand sanitiser and cleaning wipes for your basket and trolley.
We practice social distancing, have enhanced cleaning and hygiene practices of high touchpoint areas, and are encouraging cashless payments.
We know that for some, coming into our stores may not be possible, and for these customers we recommend using our contactless Click&Collect or Home Delivery options. If you've never shopped online with us before, we've created a step-by-step guide and video to make it as easy as possible.
