What is Rapid delivery?

Whether you need the staples like milk and bread, or last minute dinner ingredients like a hot chicken and fresh veg, we can have it to your door within 2 hours when you select a rapid delivery slot at checkout.

Rapid delivery slots are available between 8.30am and 5pm, 7 days a week in most stores where Rapid delivery is available, with some exceptions.

How do I get a Rapid delivery?

Start your Coles online order as you normally would. When you come to select a delivery slot, choose one that's marked Rapid. This marking will only be seen on slots for today's date.

What items can I receive with Rapid delivery?

You can order up to a maximum of 40 items per order.

You can order from our full supermarket range of products, other than a few restricted items. Restricted items include liquor, tobacco and heavy bulk items.

Is Rapid delivery in my area?

Rapid delivery is available in a select number of stores though its availability is being expanded across Australia as quickly as possible.

If you see a Rapid delivery slot when placing your order, that means it's available. If you're not seeing any slots, check back soon as your local store may be one we're adding it to.

What costs are involved with Rapid delivery?

There’s a flat delivery fee of $15 and the minimum order value needs to be $30.

Currently the Bagged option is only one available for Rapid deliveries, so you may also be charged bagging costs.

Do I need to be home for a Rapid delivery?

No, you don’t need to be home as it’s an unattended delivery method, but your drop off location needs to be accessible to our partner driver. If not, you must write clear delivery instructions stating where to leave the order.

You also need to be contactable by phone in case the driver can’t find your address or needs more information about the delivery instructions.

How will I know when my order is on the way?

We'll send you an SMS to say your order is being prepared. It includes a link for you to view the driver’s location so you’ll know how close it is.

Sometimes drivers may appear to be going to the wrong address when delivering the order. This is because drivers can deliver multiple orders in one trip and may be in the process of delivery to another address before yours.
