Recall of Coles Sliced White Mushrooms 200g and 375g and Sliced Brown Mushrooms 200g.

Best Before and Use By dates up to and including 19 July 2018 Sold in Coles supermarkets and Coles online in NSW, ACT, Victoria and Tasmania.

Supplier Mushroom Exchange has recalled a range of sliced mushroom products, including three Coles brand sliced mushroom punnets sold in Coles supermarkets and Coles online in New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Victoria and Tasmania.

The recall is due to the potential presence of plastic fragments in punnets. There is a potential hazard if plastic pieces are swallowed.

The products are Coles brand sliced pre-packed mushroom punnets including:

  • Sliced White Mushrooms 200g and 375g
  • Sliced Brown Mushrooms 200g

All BEST BEFORE or USE BY dates up to and including 19 July 2018 are being recalled. Customers can return the product to Coles supermarkets for a full refund, and any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
