The recall is due to the presence of undeclared allergens – fish and soy – in the Coles Thai Green Curry soup, which have not been specified on the label because the product has been incorrectly packaged. The label on the front is correct; however the Coles Chicken Noodle Soup label (which contains product ingredients and allergen information) has been incorrectly affixed to the back of the Coles Thai Green Curry soup product.  This label only states that the product may contain fish and soy.

Consumers who have a fish or soy allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if they consume the product.

Coles has chosen to withdraw the Coles Chicken Noodle Soup product to avoid customer confusion. This product is safe to consume.

Customers can return the product to any Coles supermarket for a full refund or contact Customer Care for a credit on their account if they purchased the item online.

Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
