Apple Salad with Sticky Pork Chops dressed with Sesame Seeds

Ingredients

  • 4 Coles Australian Pork Cutlets
  • ¼ cup (60ml) plum sauce
  • 1 tbs chilli sauce
  • ½ tsp Chinese five spice
  • 1½ tbs soy sauce
  • 1½ tbs honey
  • 2 apples, very thinly sliced
  • 2 celery sticks, peeled into ribbons
  • 60g pkt Coles Australian Baby Rocket
  • 2 tsp rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds, toasted

Method

  1. Step 1

    Place the pork, plum sauce, chilli sauce, Chinese five spice, 1 tbs soy sauce and 1 tbs honey in a large bowl. Toss to combine.
  2. Step 2

    Heat a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook the pork for 2-3 mins each side or until golden brown and just cooked through. Transfer to a plate and cover with foil. Set aside for 5 mins to rest.
  3. Step 3

    Meanwhile, combine the apple, celery and rocket in a large bowl. Whisk the vinegar, oil, remaining soy sauce and remaining honey in a small bowl. Drizzle over the apple mixture and gently toss to combine.
  4. Step 4

    Divide the apple mixture and pork among serving plates. Sprinkle the pork with sesame seeds.
