Apple salad with sticky pork chops
Make a deliciously sticky plum sauce, soy and honey glaze to upgrade pork chops and salad to a next level weeknight meal that takes just 30 minutes to make.
- 4 Coles Australian Pork Cutlets
- ¼ cup (60ml) plum sauce
- 1 tbs chilli sauce
- ½ tsp Chinese five spice
- 1½ tbs soy sauce
- 1½ tbs honey
- 2 apples, very thinly sliced
- 2 celery sticks, peeled into ribbons
- 60g pkt Coles Australian Baby Rocket
- 2 tsp rice wine vinegar
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp sesame seeds, toasted
Place the pork, plum sauce, chilli sauce, Chinese five spice, 1 tbs soy sauce and 1 tbs honey in a large bowl. Toss to combine.
Heat a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook the pork for 2-3 mins each side or until golden brown and just cooked through. Transfer to a plate and cover with foil. Set aside for 5 mins to rest.
Meanwhile, combine the apple, celery and rocket in a large bowl. Whisk the vinegar, oil, remaining soy sauce and remaining honey in a small bowl. Drizzle over the apple mixture and gently toss to combine.
Divide the apple mixture and pork among serving plates. Sprinkle the pork with sesame seeds.
