Ingredients

  • 4 streaky bacon rashers
  • 4 (about 150g each) Coles Australian No Added Hormones Beef Fillet Steaks
  • 100g garlic butter
  • 500g cup mushrooms, thickly sliced
  • 120g pkt Coles Australian Baby Spinach

Method

  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 220°C. Wrap 1 piece of bacon around the side of each steak and secure with toothpicks.
  2. Step 2

    Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook steaks for 1 min each side or until browned all over. Transfer to a roasting pan. Bake for 6 mins for medium-rare or until cooked to your liking. Cover with foil and set aside for 5 mins to rest.
  3. Step 3

    Meanwhile, melt the butter in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the mushroom and cook, stirring, for 5 mins or until browned and tender. Add the spinach and cook, stirring, for 1 min or until spinach wilts. Season.
  4. Step 4

    Remove toothpicks. Divide steaks among serving plates. Spoon over the mushroom mixture and pan juices.

    Meanwhile, melt the butter in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the mushroom and cook, stirring, for 5mins or until browned and tender. Add the spinach and cook, stirring, for 1min or until spinach wilts. Season.
