Brent Draper’s salami pizza toastie

Combining two favourites, these salami pizza toasties are a must-try. A tasty flavour fusion, they’re sure to be a hit at the dinner table.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices Coles Bakery Stone Baked by Laurent Pane Di Casa
  • Butter, to spread
  • 1 tbs tomato paste
  • 100g sliced Coles Chorizo Salami
  • 2 cups (240g) coarsely grated mozzarella
  • 4 anchovies

Method

STEP 1

Preheat the grill on medium-high. Spread both sides of the bread evenly with butter.

STEP 2

Spread tomato paste over 1 side of 2 slices of bread and top with salami and mozzarella. Place on a large baking tray. Arrange anchovies over the remaining slices of bread. Cook under the grill for 2-3 mins or until golden and cheese is bubbling.

STEP 3

Transfer the mozzarella-topped slices to a plate. Top with remaining bread, anchovies-side up. Cut in half to serve.
