Ingredients

  • 350g macaroni or small-shape pasta
  • 500g leftover roasted vegetables or steamed vegetables
  • 425g tub creamy cheese sauce or thickened cream
  • 3 cups leftover roast chicken or turkey
  • 1 cup (80g) shredded parmesan or tasty cheese or pizza cheese

Method

  1. Step 1

    Cook the pasta in a large saucepan of boiling water following packet directions or until al dente. Stir in the roasted or steamed vegetables. Set aside until heated through. Drain.

  2. Step 2

    Meanwhile, preheat grill on high. Place the cheese sauce or thickened cream in a large ovenproof frying pan over medium heat and bring to a simmer. Add your leftover chicken or turkey and stir until heated through.

  3. Step 3

    Add the pasta mixture to the pan and stir to combine. Sprinkle with the parmesan, tasty cheese or pizza cheese and cook under the grill for 5-10 mins or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbling. Set aside to cool slightly before dividing among serving bowls to serve.
