Cocoa brownies with black chia and pumpkin seeds
A healthy chocolate brownie? With this recipe it's possible to create a delicious classic desert with a healthy twist.

Ingredients
- ¾ cup Wellness Road Australian Almond Flour
- ½ cup Wellness Road Spelt Organic Wholemeal Flour
- ¼ cup Wellness Road Organic Cacao Powder, sifted
- 1 tablespoon Wellness Road Organic Black Chia Seeds
- ¼ cup Wellness Road Pumpkin Seeds, plus extra to garnish
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
- 150g dark chocolate (70% cocoa solids), roughly chopped
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- ¼ cup honey
- ½ cup plain Greek yoghurt
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
Method
STEP 1
Preheat oven to 180c. Grease and line a 20cm x 20cm baking pan.
STEP 2
Place flour, cacao powder, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds and salt in a small bowl. Mix to combine.
STEP 3
In a separate medium sized bowl, combine chocolate with oil. Microwave in short bursts until melted and smooth.
STEP 4
Add honey, yoghurt and vanilla to the melted chocolate mix. Stir to combine. Add eggs one at a time until all have been mixed in well.
STEP 5
Add dry mix and stir until just combined. Pour batter into the prepared pan. Top with a sprinkle of pumpkin seeds and bake for 20 minutes. Store in an airtight container.
