One-pan bolognaise pasta

Cut down on the washing up with this easy one-pan bolognaise pasta. It's topped with bocconcini and basil.

Ingredients

  • 500g Coles Australian No Added Hormones 3 Star Beef Mince
  • 500g jar Coles Mum’s Sause Bolognaise
  • 500g pkt Coles Rigatoni Pasta
  • 220g tub Coles Cherry Bocconcini, torn
  • cup baby basil leaves

Method

STEP 1

Heat a large deep frying pan over high heat. Add the mince and cook, stirring with a wooden spoon to break up lumps, for 5 mins or until the mince changes colour. 

STEP 2

Stir in the pasta sauce, pasta and 4 cups (1L) water. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and cook for 10-15 mins or until the pasta is al dente and the sauce thickens. 

STEP 3

Stir in half the bocconcini. Sprinkle with remaining bocconcini and basil leaves. Season.
