Whip up this tasty hommus packed with peas for a school snack the kids are guaranteed to love.
1 Makes 1 1/2 cups
- 1 cup (120g) frozen peas
- 125g can chickpeas, rinsed, drained
- 2 tsp tahini
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tbs lemon juice
Cook the peas in a medium saucepan of boiling water for 2 mins or until heated through. Refresh under cold water. Drain well.
Transfer peas to a food processor with the chickpeas, tahini, cumin and lemon juice. Process until smooth. Transfer mixture to a bowl. Season.
