Peri-peri pulled chicken burgers

Ingredients

  • 6 Coles Hamburger Rolls or bread rolls, split
  • 350g pkt Coles Kitchen Kaleslaw Salad Kit or coleslaw kit or mixed leaves
  • 2 avocados or mango, stoned, peeled, thickly sliced
  • 1 Coles RSPCA Approved Hot Roast Chicken, bones removed, or lamb, beef or pork, meat coarsely shredded
  • 1/3 cup (80ml) Nando’s Mild Peri-Peri Sauce or sauce of choice, such as barbecue or mayonnaise

Method

  1. Step 1

    Preheat grill on high. Place the rolls, cut-side up, on a baking tray. Cook under the grill for 2 mins or until the rolls are lightly toasted.
  2. Step 2

    Meanwhile, prepare the salad kit in a large bowl following packet directions.
  3. Step 3

    Divide the roll bases among serving plates. Top with avocado or mango, salad and chicken, lamb, beef or pork. Drizzle with sauce and top with the roll tops to serve.
