Pizza tarts

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet frozen shortcrust pastry, just thawed
  • 1/3 cup (80ml) pizza sauce
  • 3 shortcut bacon rashers, finely chopped
  • 1 zucchini, finely chopped
  • 2 slices pineapple in juice, drained, chopped
  • 1 cup (120g) shredded pizza cheese

Method

  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Use a 12cm cutter to cut 4 discs from the pastry. Place pastry discs on the lined tray.
  2. Step 2

    Spread pastry discs with the pizza sauce, leaving a 1cm border. Sprinkle with bacon, zucchini, pineapple and cheese. Fold pastry border over towards the filling, pleating as you go.
  3. Step 3

    Bake for 15-20 mins or until crisp and golden. Serve warm or cold.
