Quick sausage shell pasta

Create this delicious pasta dish using beef sausages and fresh mozzarella. Quick and easy, it’s a sure-fire hit at the dinner table.

Ingredients

  • 400g Cucina Matese Conchiglioni Italian Pasta
  • 1 large head broccoli, cut into florets
  • 550g pkt beef sausages
  • 500g jar Coles Mum’s Sause Garden Vegetable
  • 110g fresh mozzarella, coarsely torn

Method

STEP 1 

Cook the pasta in a large saucepan of boiling water following packet directions, adding broccoli for the last 3 mins of cooking. Drain well. Return the pasta mixture to the saucepan.

STEP 2 

Meanwhile, remove the casings from the sausages and roll into meatballs. Heat a large frying pan over medium heat. Spray with olive oil spray. Add the meatballs to the frying pan and cook, turning, for 7 mins or until cooked through. Add pasta sauce and cook, stirring, for 2-3 mins or until heated through.

STEP 3 

Add the meatball mixture to the pasta mixture and toss until well combined. Season. Spoon evenly among serving bowls. Top with mozzarella to serve.
