Sesame-crusted turkey rissoles with Asian-style salad

Done and dusted in 15 minutes, these sesame-crusted rissoles make an easy and tasty dinner.

Ingredients

  • 500g pkt turkey mince
  • 2 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1/3 cup (50g) white sesame seeds
  • 350g pkt Coles Kitchen Asian Style Salad Kit
  • 1 avocado, stoned, peeled, thinly sliced

Method

STEP 1

Combine the mince and seasoning in a bowl. Divide into 16 even portions. Shape into rissoles. Place the sesame seeds in a shallow bowl. Coat rissoles in sesame seeds and spray with olive oil spray.

STEP 2

Heat a frying pan over low heat. Cook the rissoles, turning, for 10 mins or until cooked through. 

STEP 3

Prepare the salad kit in a large bowl following packet directions. Serve rissoles with the salad and avocado.. 

 

Waste wise

If your avocado is too soft for salad, mash or puree it with a little lemon pepper seasoning instead. Serve as a sauce with the rissoles.
