Simple pesto pepperoni pizza
Pizza that’s faster than home delivery? Yes, please! Have a go at this winning combination of pesto, pepperoni and gooey cheese.
Simple Pesto Pepperoni Pizza. To make two pizzas, you’ll need thin and crispy pizza bases, pizza tomato paste, shredded pizza cheese, pepperoni salami and basil pesto. They’ll be ready to eat in 20 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius and line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Place a pizza base on each tray. Remove the casing from the pepperoni and cut it into thin slices. Spread the pizza tomato paste over the bases and sprinkle with cheese, then top with pepperoni. Or for a vegetarian pizza, swap the pepperoni for sliced mushrooms. Pop in the oven and bake for 12 minutes or until the cheese melts and the bases are golden brown. To finish the pizzas, drizzle of basil pesto. Ingredients
- 200g pkt Coles Thin & Crispy Medium Pizza Bases (2 pack)
- 1/3 cup (95g) pizza tomato paste
- 1 cup (120g) Coles Australian Shredded Pizza Blend Cheese
- 75g Coles Pepperoni Salami, casing removed, thinly sliced
- 2 tbs Coles Italia Basilico Basil Pesto
Method
STEP 1
Preheat oven to 220°C. Place the pizza bases on 2 greased baking trays. Spread with the pizza paste.
STEP 2
Top the pizza bases with the cheese and pepperoni.
STEP 3
Bake for 12 mins or until the pizza bases are golden brown and the cheese melts. Drizzle with pesto to serve.
