Make your summertime drinks extra festive with our spiced lemon, lime and bitters recipe. It’s a refreshing mocktail to offer guests.

Ingredients

  • 3 black tea bags
  • 2 oranges, rind finely grated, juiced
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 vanilla bean, split
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 4 cups (1L) boiling water
  • 1.25L Sprite No Sugar, chilled
  • Lemon slices, to serve
  • Orange slices, to serve
  • 1 tsp bitters (optional)

Method

  1. Step 1

    Place the tea bags, 2 tsp orange rind, cinnamon, vanilla, cloves and boiling water in a large heatproof jug. Set aside for 10 mins to infuse.
  2. Step 2

    Strain half the tea mixture through a fine sieve into an 8-hole ice cube tray. Place in the freezer for 6 hours or until frozen. Place the remaining tea mixture in the fridge to chill.
  3. Step 3

    Strain remaining tea mixture through a fine sieve into serving glasses. Discard solids. Add the orange juice and ice cubes. Top with Sprite No Sugar. Add lemon slices, orange slices and bitters, if using.
