Warm apple pie martini

Ingredients
- 2 tbs cinnamon sugar
- 1 lemon wedge
- 1 small apple, thinly sliced lengthways
- 1 1/2 cups (375ml) apple juice
- 1/2 cup (125ml) vanilla-flavoured vodka
- 1/2 cup (125ml) butterscotch schnapps
- Pinch of ground cinnamon
- Pinch of ground nutmeg
Method
STEP 1
Place the cinnamon sugar on a small plate. Run the lemon wedge around the rim of each serving glass. Dip the rim of each glass in the cinnamon sugar to lightly coat. Dip the edge of the apple slices in cinnamon sugar to lightly coat. Place on the edge of each glass.
STEP 2
Combine the apple juice, vodka, schnapps, cinnamon and nutmeg in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Cook, stirring, for 5 mins or until heated through. Pour evenly among serving glasses. Serve immediately.
Swap me: For a mocktail version, make mulled apple juice – just swap the vodka and schnapps for an extra 1 cup (250ml) juice.
