Mexican-Style Burgers

Ingredients

  • 500g Cook with Curtis Mexican Recipe Beef Mince
  • 4 Coles Brioche Burger Buns, split, toasted
  • ½ cup (150g) mayonnaise
  • 1 cup (80g) shredded cabbage
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • ½ red onion, finely chopped
  • ¾ cup coriander leaves and tender stems

Method

  1. Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Roll beef into 4 even balls, then roughly flatten in the palm of your hand so each patty is just a little wider than the buns. Add to pan. Cook for 6 mins each side or until well browned and cooked through. Set aside for 2 mins to rest.
  2. Spread cut sides of buns with mayonnaise. Top bun bases with patties, cabbage, tomato, onion and coriander. Season with salt. Cover with bun tops and serve.
