Movember & 20 Years changing the face of men's health

Twenty years ago, an idea was conceived in a bar in Fitzroy, igniting a movement that would change the face of men's health forever. The movement, known as Movember, united people from all walks of life, inspiring them to use their faces as walking, talking billboards for men's health. A humble gesture that has sparked billions of important conversations, raised vital funds and shattered the silence surrounding men's health issues. Coles’ team members, suppliers and customers have been supporting Movember for more than 10 years and together have contributed over $2.9M to support men’s health.

Movember has championed men's physical and mental health like never before. Funding more than 1,320 men’s health projects around the world, challenging health systems, confronting gender norms, reducing health inequalities, and encouraging men to adopt healthy behaviours.  Together, we have the power to lift the profile of men’s health and to show it as something worthy of focus and attention. The first step? Uniting to take on mental health, suicide, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer.
