Coles and Perino have partnered to support SAKGF

In February 2020, Coles partnered with the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation (SAKGF), a not-for-profit charity that aims to deliver pleasurable food education to children around Australia through professional development, educational resources, support and inspiration for educators.

Through this partnership, Coles is proud to have been able to support SAKGF through their Covid-19 response, with the development of an at home recipe video series as part of their Kitchen Garden Program (KGP). This video series enabled kids and families to engage with the KGP and assist them while learning remotely. We are excited to continue bringing the KGP to more Australian schools, kids and families as we move forward.

To enable the Kitchen Garden Program to continue to help Aussie kids learn about fresh produce, Coles and SAKGF have partnered with Perino Tomatoes. From January 20 to February 16 2021, 5 cents from every punnet of Perino Tomatoes 200g sold at Coles will be donated to the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation (SAKGF), up to the value of $100,000. We are thrilled to have Perino Tomatoes on board as they are exclusive to Coles and 100 per cent Australian grown. Be sure to pick up a pack of Perino Tomatoes 200g today to support the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation.

For Perino recipe inspiration, check out the February Coles Magazine as it includes recipes from Stephanie Alexander along with Coles Ambassadors, Courtney Roulston and Michael Weldon.
