Apple and cinnamon slow cooker oats


  • 1½ cups (135g) rolled oats
  • 1 large apple, cored, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • 2 cups (500ml) milk
  • ¼ cup (60ml) maple syrup
  • Vanilla yoghurt, to serve
  • Thinly sliced apple, to serve
  • Chopped pistachios, to serve
  • Raspberries, to serve
  • Maple syrup, extra, to serve

  1. Step 1

    Grease a slow cooker. Place oats, chopped apple, cinnamon, vanilla, milk, maple syrup and 4 cups (1L) water in the prepared slow cooker. Stir to combine.
  2. Step 2

    Cover and cook for 6-7 hours on low or until the oat mixture thickens.
  3. Step 3

    Divide oat mixture evenly among serving bowls. Top with yoghurt, sliced apple, pistachio and raspberries. Drizzle with extra maple syrup to serve.
