Creamy avocado and nutty hummus are a great match. Full of flavour and a hint of spice, this tasty starter is great for dipping veggies, chips or crackers.

Ingredients

  • 2 firm ripe avocados, halved, stoned
  • ¼ cup finely chopped chives
  • 2 tbs dukkah
  • 1 tbs dried chilli flakes
  • ½ cup (140g) hummus

Method

  1. Step 1

    Place the avocado, cut-side up, on a clean work surface. Use a teaspoon to carefully sprinkle one-third of the cut surface of each avocado with chives. Repeat with dukkah and chilli flakes.

  2. Step 2

    Spoon the hummus evenly into the hollow of each avocado. Divide among serving plates and serve immediately.
