Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 10 Norfolk Foods Budget Beef Burger patties
  • 10 short-cut bacon rashers
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 432g can pineapple slices in juice, drained
  • 10 Coles Brand Australian Free Range Eggs
  • 10 Coles Bakery Kaiser Rolls, split, toasted
  • 1 cup (280g) barbecue sauce
  • 10 slices tasty cheddar
  • 10 baby cos lettuce leaves, halved
  • 3 tomatoes, sliced
  • Sliced beetroot, to serve
  • Hot chips, to serve

Method

  1. Step 1

    Heat 1 tbsp of the oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook patties, in batches, for 2-3 mins each side or until browned and cooked through. Transfer to a plate. Cover to keep warm.
  2. Step 2

    Cook bacon in the pan for 2 mins each side or until browned. Transfer to a plate and cover to keep warm.
  3. Step 3

    Wipe pan clean. Heat the remaining oil in the pan over medium-high heat. Cook onion and pineapple, keeping them separate in pan, for 4 mins or until golden. Transfer to a plate.
  4. Step 4

    Fry eggs in the pan, in batches, until whites are set.
  5. Step 5

    Place roll bases on serving plates. Top with half of the barbecue sauce, then top each with a slice of cheddar, lettuce, tomato, a patty, bacon, beetroot, pineapple, an egg and onion. Drizzle with remaining barbecue sauce. Top with roll tops. Serve with chips.
