Combine onion, cucumber, tomato, yoghurt, lime rind and lime juice in a small bowl. Season.
Heat a barbecue flatplate or chargrill on high. Gently shape each beef burger into a 19cm-long oval. Cook the burgers on the grill for 3 mins each side or until charred and cooked through. Transfer to a plate and cover with foil to keep warm.
Cook the rolls, cut-sides down, on the grill for 2-3 mins or until toasted.
Divide the roll bases among serving plates. Top with lettuce and burgers and spoon over the yoghurt salsa. Top with roll tops to serve.
