Cheat’s wonton soup


  • 1L Coles Real Chicken Salt Reduced Liquid Stock
  • 1 tbs light soy sauce
  • 2 cups (500ml) boiling water
  • 16 frozen dumplings or wontons
  • 1 large carrot, peeled, cut into matchsticks
  • 200g snow peas, thinly sliced lengthways
  • Sesame oil, to serve
  • Coriander sprigs, to serve

  1. Step 1

    Place the stock, soy sauce and boiling water in a saucepan and bring to the boil over high heat. Add the dumplings or wontons and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5-7 mins or until heated through. Remove from heat. Stir in the carrot and snow peas.
  2. Step 2

    Ladle soup evenly among serving bowls. Drizzle with a little sesame oil and sprinkle with coriander sprigs to serve.
