Bring iconic American flavours to the table with our Cheeseburger fries recipe. This tasty dish is packed with beef mince, mustard, tomato sauce and cheese. Needing only 15 minutes of preparation, it's an easy option that will please the family.

  • 1kg white potatoes, cut into chips
  • ¼ cup (60ml) olive oil
  • 1 brown onion, sliced
  • 500g Coles Australian 3 Star Beef Mince
  • 2 tbs tomato sauce
  • 1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbs American mustard
  • 1 cup (120g) grated cheddar
  • Tomato sauce, extra, to serve
  • American mustard, extra, to serve
  • 4 dill pickles, sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped

  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 220°C. Line a large baking tray with baking paper. Place the potato on the lined tray. Drizzle with 2 tbs of oil. Season. Bake for 30 mins or until golden and tender.

    Meanwhile, heat the remaining oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Cook the onion, stirring, for 2 mins or until starting to brown. Add the mince and cook, stirring, for 5 mins or until browned. Add the tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Cook for 2 mins or until combined. Season.
  3. Step 3

    Carefully divide the potato chips among 4 ovenproof serving dishes or ramekins. Top with the mince mixture and cheese. Bake for a further 5 mins or until cheese melts.
  4. Step 4

    Drizzle the chip mixture with extra tomato sauce and mustard. Sprinkle with pickle and tomato. Serve immediately.
