Stay cosy in the cooler weather with this Choc-mint hot chocolate recipe. Easy, creamy and full of flavour, you’ll be making it on repeat.

Choc-mint hot chocolate


  • 4 cups (1L) milk
  • 200g white chocolate, chopped
  • 2 tbs crème de menthe or 1 tsp peppermint essence
  • Green and blue liquid food colouring
  • ½ cup (125ml) thickened cream, whipped
  • 35g Nestlé Peppermint Crisp bar, coarsely chopped

  1. Step 1

    Combine the milk and chocolate in a saucepan over low heat. Stir for 5 mins or until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth and heated though. Remove from heat. Add crème de menthe or peppermint essence and stir to combine. Use food colourings to tint mixture teal.
  2. Step 2

    Pour evenly among heatproof serving glasses or mugs. Top with cream and peppermint crisp. Serve immediately.
