Cadbury Baking Truffles

Ingredients

Dark Choc Rocky Road Truffles

  • 2 x 180g Cadbury baking dark chocolate block
  • 200ml thickened cream
  • 3 x 52g Cherry Ripe bars, chopped
  • 50g mini marshmallows
  • 65g peanuts

Topping:

  • 50g Cadbury baking dark chocolate chips
  • 180g Cadbury baking milk chocolate block
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil

White Chocolate Cinnamon Truffles

  • 2 x 180g Cadbury baking white chocolate block
  • 200 ml cream
  • 50g Cadbury baking white chocolate chips
  • 135g Oreo double stuff cinnamon bun
  • Cookies, roughly crushed

Topping:

  • 180gCadbury baking white chocolate block
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 100g desiccated coconut

Milk Chocolate Hazelnut Truffles

  • 2 x 180g Cadbury baking milk chocolate block
  • 200 ml cream
  • 100g Cadbury Dairy Milk hazelnut chocolate block chopped
  • 50g Cadbury baking milk chocolate chips
  • 50g hazelnuts, chopped

Topping:

  • 180g Cadbury baking milk chocolate block
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 50g crushed hazelnuts

Caramilk truffles

  • For the Caramilk flavour, substitute the white chocolate with Cadbury Caramilk flavour, caramelise white chocolate.

Method

  1. Step 1

    Place 2 x180g Cadbury baking chocolate blocks and cream in a microwave safe bowl on medium heat for approx. 2 minutes, or until melted. Stir well and leave it to cool.

  2. Step 2

    When cool, mix through the fillings (Cadbury Baking Chocolate Chips and any ingredients listed for each flavour).

  3. Step 3

    Pour into a flat container (a plastic takeaway container is ideal) and refrigerate for 1 hour. Scoop into small balls and place on a lined tray. Refrigerate for 1 hr until firm.

  4. Step 4

    For coating, melt remaining 180g Cadbury Baking Chocolate Block in a microwave safe bowl on medium heat for 2 minutes. Stir in 2tsp vegetable oil and mix well.

  5. Step 5

    Coat each ball in melted chocolate. Using 2 forks for lifting, place balls on lined baking tray to set. Sprinkle over decorations.

Recipe tip

For a tall tower, use a foam cone as a base. Available from craft stores. Make one flavour of truffles to simplify the recipe, just chose your favourite flavour!
