Ingredients

  • 500g Coles Australian Beef Corned Silverside, cut into 1cm pieces
  • 2 x 350g tubs Coles Fresh Mashed Potato
  • 1 carrot, peeled, grated
  • 1 spring onion, thinly sliced
  • ⅓ cup (50g) plain flour
  • 1 tbs seeded mustard
  • ¼ cup (60ml) olive oil
  • 160g Bechamel sauce, heated
  • 1 tbs chopped flat-leaf parsley
  • Mediterranean salad, to serve
  • Lemon wedges, to serve

Method

  1. Step 1

    Combine beef, mashed potato, carrot, spring onion, flour and mustard in a bowl. Season. Shape into 12 even-sized patties. Place on a plate in the fridge for 10 mins to chill.
  2. Step 2

    Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook patties, in batches, for 3 mins each side or until golden and heated through.
  3. Step 3

    Combine finishing sauce and parsley in a bowl. Serve patties with parsley sauce, salad and lemon wedges.
