Ingredients

  • 1 Coles Australian Free Range Egg
  • 2 tbs milk
  • Large pinch ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 10g butter
  • 2 Coles Bakery Croissants, split
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) thickened cream, whipped
  • 100g fresh strawberries
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) pure maple syrup

Method

  1. Step 1

    Whisk the egg, milk, cinnamon and vanilla in a medium bowl.
  2. Step 2

    Melt the butter in a large frying pan over medium heat. Place the croissant halves in the egg mixture for 10 secs to soak. Cook the croissant halves for 3 mins each side or until lightly browned.
  3. Step 3

    Place the croissant halves on serving plates. Top with the cream and strawberries. Drizzle with the maple syrup to serve.
