Meat-free Monday has never tasted so good with this cauliflower burger. Complete with a crisp and colourful salad and creamy hommus, it’s the kind of the recipe that will see you happily eating your veggies.

Easy cauliflower burgers


  • 2 x 250g pkts Wildly Good Smoky Cauliflower Burgers
  • 400g Coles Turkish Pide
  • 400g pkt Coles Kitchen American BBQ Salad Kit
  • 200g hommus
  • 225g can sliced beetroot, drained

  1. Step 1

    Heat a large greased frying pan over medium-low heat. Cook the burgers for 4-5 mins each side or until heated through.

  2. Step 2

    Meanwhile, preheat grill on high. Split the pide lengthways. Cut crossways into 4 even portions. Place on a baking tray and cook under the grill for 1-2 mins or until golden. Prepare the salad kit in a bowl following packet directions.

  3. Step 3

    Divide pide bases among serving plates. Spread with one-third of the hommus. Top with salad, burgers and beetroot. Spread pide tops with half the remaining hommus. Top beetroot with pide tops. Serve with remaining hommus.
