This is not your average pineapple. Grilled in zesty lime and cinnamon salt this pineapple will steal the show.

Grilled pineapple wedges with lime and cinnamon salt


  • 1 tsp finely grated lime rind
  • 2 tbs sea salt flakes
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbs caster sugar
  • 1 pineapple, peeled, cut into long wedges
  • lime wedges, to serve
  • mint leaves, to serve

  1. Step 1

    Combine lime rind, salt, cinnamon and 1 tsp of the sugar in a small bowl.
  2. Step 2

    Sprinkle pineapple with remaining sugar. Heat a large frying pan on medium-high heat. Cook pineapple wedges for 2 mins each side or until lightly browned.
  3. Step 3

    Serve pineapple with lime and cinnamon salt, lime wedges and mint leaves.
