Fire up the wok because it's going to be sizzling and serving this Korean beef stir-fry, which is a recipe full of goodness and flavour.

Korean beef stir-fry

Ingredients

  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 tsp finely grated ginger
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) soy sauce
  • 2 tbs mirin
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 600g Coles Australian Beef Rump Steak, trimmed, thinly sliced
  • 450g hokkien noodles
  • 2 tsp peanut oil
  • 1 red capsicum, thinly sliced
  • 1 yellow capsicum, thinly sliced
  • 100g snow peas, halved diagonally

Method

  1. Step 1

    Combine garlic, ginger, soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil and sugar in a glass bowl. Add beef and toss to combine. Set aside for 30 mins to marinate.
  2. Step 2

    Meanwhile, prepare noodles following packet directions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Step 3

    Heat 1 tsp peanut oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Stir-fry beef, reserving marinade, in batches, for 2 mins or until browned. Heat remaining oil in the wok and stir-fry combined capsicum and snow peas for 3 mins. Add beef, reserved marinade and noodles. Stir fry for 2 mins or until beef is cooked through.
