8 Coles Australian Pork Sausages
2 tsp olive oil
1 red onion, cut into thick wedges
2 garlic cloves, crushed
⅓ cup (80ml) maple syrup
¼ cup sage leaves
Mashed potato, to serve
Steamed greens, to serve

Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook the sausages, turning, for 7-8 mins or until browned all over and cooked through.
Add the onion to the pan and cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 mins or until onion just softens. Stir in the garlic, maple syrup and sage. Bring to a simmer. Simmer, uncovered, for 3 mins or until syrup thickens and coats the sausages.
Divide the mashed potato and steamed greens among serving plates. Top with the sausage mixture to serve.
