Ingredients

  • 500g Coles Australian Beef Mince
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 brown onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) barbecue sauce
  • 1 tbs wholegrain mustard
  • 1 tbs vegetable oil
  • 160g pkt traditional liquid gravy
  • 1/2 cup (150g) roasted capsicum chutney
  • 4 Coles Bakery Kaiser Rolls, split
  • 8 butter lettuce leaves, torn
  • 2 truss tomatoes, sliced
  • Mixed salad leaves, to serve

Method

  1. Step 1

    Combine mince, carrot, onion, barbecue sauce and mustard in a bowl. Season. Shape the mince mixture into 4 patties.
  2. Step 2

    Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for 5 mins each side or until browned and cooked through.
  3. Step 3

    Meanwhile, heat the gravy following packet directions.
  4. Step 4

    Spread chutney over roll bases. Top with lettuce, patties and tomato. Drizzle with the gravy and top with remaining roll tops. Serve the burgers with salad leaves.
