Natalie’s mum’s seafood sauce


  • 1/2 cup (125ml) thickened cream
  • 1/3 cup (80g) whole-egg mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Chilled seafood (such as fresh oysters, smoked salmon and cooked scallops, lobster tails and whole prawns), to serve

  1. Step 1

    Use an electric mixer to whisk the cream in a bowl until soft peaks form. Add the mayonnaise, tomato sauce, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce and gently fold to combine. Season. 

  2. Step 2

    Transfer to a serving bowl. Cover and place in the fridge for 30 mins to chill before serving with seafood.
