For a speedy weeknight dinner, give this Pasta with cheese-stuffed meatballs a go. Rich, garlicky and herby, it's a comforting meal that will satisfy the whole family.

Ingredients

  • 1kg Coles Australian 3-star Beef Mince
  • ½ cup (50g) packaged breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 220g Coles Cherry Bocconcini
  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • 700g ctn tomato & garlic pasta sauce
  • 500g spaghetti
  • Grated parmesan, to serve
  • Basil leaves, to serve

Method

  1. Step 1

    Combine the mince, breadcrumbs, herbs, garlic and egg in a large bowl. Season. Shape 2 tbs beef mixture around each bocconcini to enclose.

  2. Step 2

    Heat the oil in a large saucepan on medium-high heat. Cook meatballs, turning, for 5 mins or until browned all over. Add the pasta sauce and bring to a simmer. Simmer, covered, for 7 mins or until meatballs are cooked through.
  3. Step 3

    Meanwhile, cook the pasta in a large saucepan of boiling salted water until al dente. Drain.
  4. Step 4

    Serve pasta topped with meatballs, parmesan and basil.
