Ploughman's salad with caramelised onion dressing

Ingredients

  • 2 baby cos lettuce, leaves separated
  • 2 x 150g pkts Coles Australian Double Smoked Leg Ham
  • 250g red or green grapes, halved
  • 100g vintage cheddar, cut into thin slices
  • 8 sweet and sour cucumbers, halved
  • Coles Bakery Stone Baked by Laurent Mini Olive Pane Di Casa*, sliced, toasted, to serve

Caramelised onion dressing

  • 1/4 cup (80g) Coles Caramelised Onion & Balsamic Chutney
  • 1 tbs extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbs red wine vinegar

Method

  1. Step 1

    To make the caramelised onion dressing, place the chutney, oil and vinegar in a screw-top jar and shake well to combine. Season. Transfer to a small serving bowl.

  2. Step 2

    Arrange the lettuce, ham, grape, cheddar and cucumber on a large serving platter. Drizzle with some of the dressing. Season. Serve with the bread and remaining dressing.
