Have yourself a hearty lunch with these easy chicken and slaw rolls. Made with hot roast chicken and coleslaw mix, they fast to prep and delicious to eat.

Pulled chicken and slaw rolls


  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 brown onion, sliced
  • ⅓ cup (80ml) Masterfoods Squeezy Barbecue Sauce
  • ½ Coles Hot Roast Chicken, meat shredded, skin and bones discarded
  • 1 cup (65g) Coles Fresh Coleslaw Mix
  • 2 tbs whole egg mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp white vinegar
  • 4 Coles Bakery Hot Dog Rolls
  • 2 iceberg lettuce leaves, shredded
  • Masterfoods Squeezy Barbecue Sauce, extra, to serve
  • Coriander leaves, to serve

  1. Step 1

    Heat oil in a small frying pan on medium heat. Add onion. Cook, stirring, for 5 mins or until softened. Remove from heat. Stir in barbecue sauce and chicken.
  2. Step 2

    Combine coleslaw mix, mayonnaise and vinegar in a medium bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Step 3

    Split hotdog rolls without cutting all the way through. Fill with lettuce, slaw and chicken mixture. Drizzle with extra barbecue sauce. Serve sprinkled with coriander leaves.
