Put a salted caramel twist on a classic peanut butter fudge. Perfect for sharing, this decadent recipe is the ultimate sweet treat.

Salted caramel peanut butter fudge


  • 395g can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup (220g) brown sugar
  • 125g butter, chopped
  • 2 tbs Coles Golden Syrup
  • 200g white chocolate, chopped
  • 1/4 cup (70g) crunchy peanut butter
  • 20g pretzels, coarsely chopped
  • 40g mini peanut butter cups or dark chocolate, chopped
  • Sea salt flakes, to serve (optional)

  1. Step 1

    Grease base and sides of an 18cm (base measurement) square cake pan and line with baking paper, allowing the sides to overhang. Combine condensed milk, sugar, butter and golden syrup in a saucepan over low heat. Cook, stirring, for 5 mins or until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Step 2

    Increase heat to medium-high and cook, stirring constantly, for 6-8 mins or until mixture thickens and is a caramel colour. Remove from heat. Stir in white chocolate until mixture is well combined. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spoon over the peanut butter. Use a round-bladed knife to marble. Top with pretzels and peanut butter cups or dark chocolate. Sprinkle with salt, if using.
  3. Step 3

    Place in the fridge for 2 hours or until set. Cut into squares to serve.
