Ingredients

  • 120g salted mini pretzel shapes
  • 1/3 cup (45g) salted roasted peanuts
  • 125g butter, chopped
  • 1 cup (220g) caster sugar
  • 100g dark chocolate, melted

Method

  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 200°C. Line a 25cm x 35cm Swiss roll pan with baking paper. Arrange pretzels and peanuts over the prepared pan.
  2. Step 2

    Combine the butter and sugar in a large saucepan over low heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 6-8 mins or until butter melts and sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and pour evenly over pretzels. Bake for 15 mins or until caramel turns golden brown. Remove from oven and set aside to cool completely.
  3. Step 3

    Place the melted chocolate in a small plastic bag. Use scissors to cut a small hole in the corner of the bag. Drizzle over the top of the caramel mixture. Set aside to cool completely. Break into shards to serve.
