Ingredients

  • 250g Coles French Fries
  • 500g Coles Finest Beef & Margaret River Shiraz Sausages
  • 4 slices tasty cheese
  • 4 brioche buns, split horizontally
  • 2 tbs chipotle mayonnaise
  • 2 baby cos lettuces, leaves separated
  • 1 red Grandma’s Heirloom Tomato, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced

Method

  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 210° fan-forced. Cook French fries according to packet directions.

  2. Step 2

    Meanwhile, remove casings from sausages and place in a large bowl. Stir to break up lumps. Divide into 4 portions and shape each portion into a 12cm patty.

  3. Step 3

    Heat a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook patties for 3 mins each side or until golden and cooked through.

  4. Step 4

    Top each patty with 1 slice of tasty cheese and remove from heat.

  5. Step 5

    Toast brioche buns and place on serving plates. Spread with chipotle mayonnaise or aioli. Top with patties, lettuce leaves separated, tomato, red onion and bun tops.

  6. Step 6

    Remove fries from oven and season. Serve with burgers.
