Make mealtime easy this week with this quick Sesame beef and noodle stir-fry. Full of flavour, this dish does not disappoint.

Sesame beef and noodle stir-fry

Ingredients

  • 200g egg noodles
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) soy sauce
  • 2 tsp finely grated ginger
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 tbs peanut oil
  • 750g Coles Graze Grass-Fed Beef Rump Steak, thinly sliced
  • 200g cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 bunch baby broccoli, cut into 3cm lengths
  • 2 spring onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 bunch pak choy, trimmed, leaves separated
  • 1 tbs sesame seeds, toasted

Method

  1. Step 1

    Cook the noodles following packet directions. Drain well.
  2. Step 2

    Meanwhile, combine the sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger and garlic in a small jug.
  3. Step 3

    Heat the peanut oil in a wok or frying pan over medium-high heat. Stir-fry one-third of the beef for 2 mins or until browned. Transfer to a plate. Repeat in 2 batches with the remaining beef.
  4. Step 4

    Add the mushroom and broccolini stems to the wok or pan and stir-fry for 3 mins. Return the beef to the wok or pan with the soy sauce mixture, broccoli florets, spring onion, pak choy and noodles. Stir-fry for 2 mins or until heated through. Sprinkle with sesame seeds to serve.
