Spiced pear and date crumble tarts

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups (240g) drained Coles Australian Pear Slices in Juice, thinly sliced
  • 6 fresh dates, seeded, coarsely chopped
  • 1/4 cup (75g) Coles Bake & Create Caramel Dulce De Leche
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 6 (80g) gingernut biscuits, finely crushed
  • 20g unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbs shredded coconut
  • 12 Coles Make At Home Tart Shells

Method

  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 180°C. Combine the pear, date, dulce de leche, ginger and cinnamon in a medium bowl.
  2. Step 2

    Place the biscuit in a small bowl. Add the butter and coconut and stir to combine. Place tart shells on a large baking tray. Divide the pear mixture evenly among the tart shells and sprinkle with the biscuit mixture.
  3. Step 3

    Bake the tarts for 8 mins or until golden. Set aside to cool slightly.

    Serve with vanilla ice cream or custard.
